Nightmares

Wind races by in howls, growls, and whistles. Whips up everything in its path. Spark clouds rumble, flashing on and off, a warning to the forest. The worst is coming.

And it comes.

A gang of Monster Sparks bolts across the sky, zigzags their way to the ground. Their thunder roars!

A tall Turquoia Tree hit! Another on fire, split in half. Fires crackle. Burned, broken branches cover the Woodlands. Smoke fills the air until sunlight disappears.

All turns dark.

Except for a red glow on a pile of ashes. A red stone begins to flash green light.

HMy Nightmare

Another character offers help. DreamFlyer, a sort of guru of dreams, teaches Bongo about dreams and how to "dreamfly." DreamFlyer explains:

We all go to sleep every night. Dreamflying catches that split second right before sleep. So, we enter the dream world half awake. You can't change anything.  You're only an observer.

"I opened my eyes. I saw the closet, the windows, my green pack by the door. I was back in my bedroom again. What a relief! The world of monsters was gone."
